I have rewaxed the wheels every 6 months without any oxidation occurring between waxes. It you do not like the raw finish, they can be taken straight to your powder coater or painter.
The rear wheel is a direct fit using your existing OEM spacers, sprocket carrier, sprocket, and rear disc. The front wheel requires a spacer kit from Corse Dynamics which is included with this listing. It consist of 2 disc spacers and 1 axle spacer. It using your OEM calipers, 1 disc spacer will go between the wheel and the front disc on each side. If you have upgraded to the Brembo 4 piston calipers, you do not use the disc spacers. As shown in the photos, my 2007 Sport 1000 Biposto and my 2006 Paul Smart both have the larger 4 piston calipers.
The front axle spacer goes on the left side of the wheel, and your existing OEM spacer is retained on the right hand side of the bike. The rear is 17" x 5.5" and the front is 17" x 3.5". The Continental Sport Attack tires have less than 200 miles. The rear is 180/55 with a date code of 1020, and the front is a 120/70 with a date code of 2320. I have been riding and spinning wrenches on my bikes for over 50 years.
