Specialized worked with Dupont to develop the original tri-spoke carbon wheel that has been the industry standard for roughly 30 years. This vintage tubular wheel as it is shown is a rear wheel for triathlon or time trials. It accepts a thread-on freewheel either 6 or 7 speed. However, by swapping out the axle to a shorter front one it can be converted to a front wheel. A front 100 mm spindle will not be included.
