Bicycle Wheel Warehouse is offering this NEW set of Alex XCR100d Black 26 wheels laced with Formula MTB Quick Release 6-Bolt Disc Hubs. The Alex XCR100d rim is a welded joint rim with a 24mm outer and 17.5mm inner width designed for cross country (XC) MTB riding. The Formula MTB Hubs are Quick Release, front = 9mm x 100mm, rear = 10mm x 135mm. They are NOT convertible to thru-axle. The rear hub will work with Shimano MTB series 8, 9, 10, or 11 speed cassettes. They are built up with Black 2.0mm (14g) Spokes and Brass Nipples. These wheels are Not tubeless ready. Wheel set weight is 2000g for the pair. This wheel set is brand new, ready to ride. This wheel set is a close-out 26 pair that we are now offering through our e-bay overstock and blemished program. We do little things that make a lasting difference, like seating spoke heads against the hub flanges with our own proprietary tools, so that spoke tension doesnt dramatically change as soon as you put weight on your new wheels the first time you try them out.

We stress relieve the spokes multiple times, to help the spokes seat properly against one another and the hub flanges. The use of high quality lubricants on spoke threads and on nipples helps our wheels last longer, and makes them more serviceable. We have professional grade equipment in which to check tension and wheel trueness, far more precise than what is available to the regular bike shop. Size: 26 Disc Specific 6061 Alloy Rim.
